Volunteer with our Member Organizations

  • Presidio Trust

Have fun. Meet new people. Spend time in nature. And enjoy the great feeling that comes from giving back to this beautiful national park site.

The Presidio offers drop-in volunteer opportunities as well as programs for those able to make a more consistent commitment. Whether you’re on your own or with a group, we can get you started.

  • CNPS - Yerba Buena Chapter

Field Trips, Natural History Walks, Restoration parties, free virtual talks and more! CNPS-YB and other San Francisco non-profits plant native plants in public spaces around San Francisco to expand habitat and food for wildlife. They weed, water and install native plants for local and migrating wildlife and you can join them by signing up for their meetup group!

  • San Francisco Recreation & Parks

Try out your green thumb or help clean up your neighborhood park. From Mission Dolores Park to Golden Gate Park, there’s a wealth of exciting volunteer opportunities in our parks. Volunteers participate in a variety of park maintenance projects, including weeding, planting, mulching, habitat restoration, trash pickup, painting, and trail work.

  • Nature in the City
