Jennifer Cooper

Jennifer Cooper is the Landscape Architecture Bureau Manager at San Francisco Public Works, where she leads a team of more than twenty landscape architects in the design of award-winning public open spaces. Drawing on her background in landscape architecture and ecology, she advances a vision for a more resilient and adaptable future for San Francisco.

Jennifer brings over twenty years of experience spanning private practice and academia prior to her leadership role at Public Works. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and is a certified California Naturalist.

Her work and writing have been published internationally, and she is the recipient of the Bradford Williams Medal for Journalism from Landscape Architecture Magazine.
